    hello,

first off, let me apologize if this a fairly simple question - i've been
looking for a solution for the past two days and have not found
    anything. Basically, here's my situation:

I'm in process of building up a new firewall system - a pair of Nokia
IP440's running FW-1 4.1SP4. They are managed by a management station
running 2000 SP2. My existing firewall is a quite aging NT4 box that
runs FW-1 and the management software on the same box - the solution has
been in place for about 4 years, and as you may imagine the rulebase and
objects database has grown quite substantially. What I'd like to do is
move over all the objects and the rulebase to my new Nokias. I tried
copying the objects.C and rules.C files to one of the nokias and doing
an fw gen and got 4 or 5 compile-time errors. As you may expect, I'd
really rather not rebuild every one of those objects by hand.. Here are
    some version information stats:

    new fws: Nokia IP440 x 2 IPSO 3.4 - 6/26/2001 + FW-1 4.1SP4 + MGMT
    console 4.1SP4 on Win2000 SP2.

old fw: NT4 box w/ mgmt + firewall module on same box - 4.1 [no SP]

i'm suspecting it may be a version conflict as I cannot connect to the
new firewall mgmt console via my old GUI tool, either.. any information
you wizards may have to help me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in
    advance,
