Ok, have made that change in my local copy. Would it make sense to
propagate this change to the maillog entry also:

/var/log/maillog 664 7 * 24 Z

I'm not sure I fully understand the newsyslog.conf T date/time syntax. Is
there a way in which the following rotation schedule can be expressed?

/var/log/sendmail.st 664 10 * 168 B

It did not look this way to me (unlike crontab, there doesn't seem to be
modulus functionality), but I could be mistaken not having used it
previously, or looked at the code.
