he wrote it, on 4.7R:
rootfreebsd:/usr/src# krb5-config --cflags
-I/usr/include INCLUDE_des

(By the way, in a fresh cvsupped STABLE, I got only:
rootfreebsd:/usr/src# krb5-config --cflags
-I/usr/include
- so I think it was a bug on 4.7R.)
