It should be noted that one implication of this is that other modules
go squirrely when the API changes. For instance, if you install the
regular Apache, build mod_php, then switch to the apache+mod_ssl, PHP
will blow up and have to be recompiled. And going the other way, as
well. So, if you DO have plans to use the SSL side, better to have it
in place early so you don't forget.
