I like to do this with ssh & vnc over linux

[rh8]$ssh -X userv.x.y.z
[mn9]$vncserver :4
[mn9]$vncviewr localhost:4

with out without home firewall, ,assuming windows-windows? or
windows-linux, or linux-linux?/

[assuming i'm not $$ client]
