=========================================
The network spooler does not turn off PJL device ustatus at
the end of a printjob, and it fails to send a last UEL to indicate
the end of PJL commands.
This maybe causing problems in a multi-spooler, multi-system and/or
multi-platform environment accessing the same printer.
I.e. if you have 2 HPe3000 network spoolers configured to access the
same networked printer, one of them configured as PJL_SUPPORTED=TRUE,
the other as PJL_SUPPORTED=FALSE, then the not-turning-off of
PJL USTATUS messages could cause problems for the second spooler,
which does not 'expect' to receive such PJL STATUS messages.
This can be viewed as a "well behaved in a networked environment"
enhancement.

External Symptoms, Cause, Fix Description
=========================================
The 'environment' of the output from a $STDLIST spoolfile, when printed
to a network printer changes to the default printer configuration at a
point in the spoolfile where a program terminates. This can cause
unwanted changes in printout formatting (depending how different the
setup file and the printer's defaults are) like orientation changing
from landscape to portrait, different fonts or pitch.
This was caused by the spooler sending (what we deem) an unnecessary
escape sequence (UEL) when an FCLOSE record appears in the spoolfile.
This patch also fixes a syntax problem in the NPCONFIG example
files NMSAMP1 and NMSAMP2.PUB.SYS. The item 'data_intray' is
incorrectly named 'data_tray'.

Looking at the stack trace you will see we are in create_object and are
in the process of allocating an extent of secondary storage. We go
through new_get_table_entry and lock a semaphore just before getting
a TOS Extent Fault. We transition onto the safe stack and try to
allocate an extent of secondary storage to satisfy the TOS Extent Fault
and we attempt to lock the same semaphore againg.

After installing MPELX44 running Apache will still generate the
following message if Procedure Exits are enabled:
An invalid pointer was detected by VIRTUAL SPACE MANAGEMENT
The problem is caused by the procedure 'dyn_loader' passing a
nil XRT pointer to the function pe_fix_an_xrt. If Procedure
Exits are enabled, the problem occurs.
The fix for this is to add a check in dyn_loader.

External Symptoms, Cause, Fix Description
=========================================
The D/N.03.17 release of Query adds three enhancements and two SR fixes.
The expanded limits within TurboImage for the number of datasets (240),
items (1200) , and paths (64) into a Master dataset are now supported.
The FIND BY Record Number enhancement provides a new option where a user can
specify the record number within a dataset to be read by QUERY.
The runtime PARM=%777 option can now be used with the Native Mode version of
QUERY. This allows for the obsolescence of QUERYCM in a future release.
This parameter provides for the use of the Business Basic Floating Decimal
datatype.
SR's Fixed:
8606-108307 Scratch File Read Error 0 on Find of Z-type Item.
1653-268235 Superdex Indexes reported twice in FORM commands.
