You probably made the mistake of comparing the java-based GUI of
our "research" version against our competitors, and didn't realize
that the commercial version is an embedded CDROM-bootable product
with distributed data replication, alerts, and management, which
has an encrypting Windows-32 GUI and a complete set of ID filters
provided by L0pht Heavy Industries and NFR.
Making the research version available, as a nice gesture, was
probably a mistake on my part. A lot of people evaluate NFR
based on the research version (which still is technically superior
to some of the systems you listed above) and don't realize that
our commercial version is a completely different and much more
integrated product. If you'd like an evaluation copy of the
intrusion detection appliance, please contact salesnfr.net and
they'll fix you up.
