--- I have been subscribing to this mailing list for about 2 months now. And like others my position is a Systems Admin with Security as part as my position. I work for Macmillan Computer Publishing and I have been reading into as many security books as we have available.I have had an interest in Security for some time now. Last week I finished reading Network Intrusion Detection An analyst's Handbook by Stephen Northcutt published by New Riders. So after some talks with management I am now just setting up a Shadow detection package. I wish to be able to add some feedback to this list as well as receive help when I get into the "jungle" of IDS.
