--- Well for my research I have found the listings on www.securityfocus.com to be the most helpful. They have them split into free tools and vendor products and yes they split them into a few catagories, including honey pots etc...You might also want to check out "Intrusion Detection" by Rebecca Gurley Bace, published by Macmillian, it is a very recent book and it is quite excellent.
