EICAR 2004 - Call for Papers (CfP) - Submission Deadline Jan 15, 2004

The 13th Annual EICAR Conference will be held at the Hilton Luxembourg in
Luxemburg City, Grand Duché du Luxembourg, from May 1 - 4, 2004.

Participants can expect a variety of academic and leading edge technical
presentations from around the world, with an emphasis not only on technical
aspects of IT-security, but also the legal and social issues rapidly
becoming the new thorn in everyone's collective side.

EICAR 2004 promises to be the premier security event of the year,
showcasing the latest information on all aspects of IT-security. The
conference will put you face-to-face with academics and researchers,
industry gurus and security experts, and government policy-makers.

EICAR 2004 will feature only one stream, which will give in-depth coverage
of all pertinent issues in the current climate, including but not limited to:

- Malware,
- Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP),
- Legal and Operational Issues, and
- Identity Management and Social Issues.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Submission Deadline: January 15, 2004
Early Bird Registration: March 1, 2004

Academic papers for each track are now being accepted for review. Papers
will be judged and selected by a distinguished panel of judges on a rolling
basis. Speakers receive free admission to EICAR 2004.
