The 9th Annual International Westcoast Security Forum is pleased to
announce the dates and location for our 2006 event.

When: November 27 - 28th, 2006
Where: Westin Bayshore Resort, Vancouver British Columbia, Canada

This year the conference will feature current topics ranging from
specialized network and application security, to security and privacy
management and governance. By popular demand we have added a day of
educational training for both management and technical professionals
taught by experienced security instructors. This is one of the best
opportunities to learn about trends in security and control, obtain some
formal training as well as network with other security professionals

Keynote Speaker: Ira Winkler, CISSP, CISM, President, Internet Security
Advisors Group

Ira Winkler is considered one of the world's most influential security
professionals, and has been named a "Modern Day James Bond" by the media.
He obtained this status by identifying common trends in the way
information and computer systems are compromised. He did this by
performing penetration tests, where he physically and technically "broke
into" some of the largest companies in the World and investigating crimes
against them, and telling them how to cost effectively protect their
information and computer infrastructure. He continues to perform these
penetration tests, as well as assisting organizations in developing cost
effective security programs. Ira also won the Hall of Fame award from the
Information Systems Security Association. Ira is also author of the
riveting, entertaining, and educational book, "Spies Among Us".

International Target Audience:

-Chief Information Officers
-Information Systems Security Managers
-Security Consultants
-Network Administrators
-Security Analysts and Technicians,
-Suppliers of Information System Security Products and Services.
