A British IT admin was ordered to pay more than £3,000 and given a
three-months jail sentence after being accused of hacking into his
former employer's computer system so he could install spyware and delete
emails.
Julius Oladiran, 46, of South Norwood, admitted making a false statement
and gaining unauthorized access to computer information, according to
Croydon Today. He was ordered to pay £3,200, and his three-month
sentence was suspended for two years.
Oladiran started work with the unnamed company in September 2007 as a
database admin after submitting a resume that claimed he had a master's
degree and held top government jobs. Superiors quickly became suspicious
after noticing gaps in his abilities, and within three weeks, he was
asked to leave.
