The city of Tracy needs to beef up its computer security, according to a
San Joaquin County civil grand jury report unveiled this week.
City employees have too much access to Web-based e-mail accounts and the
city’s Internet server, the report says.
The city also lacks a written security policy, though it does enforce a
strong password policy that requires users to regularly change log-in
codes, according to the report.
The city has 90 days to respond to the grand jury.
