The Telephony Scanner (TS) program detects carriers using telephony devices.
This is done in order to scan phone numbers in search of modems as a means
of entering a network. The popular term for this type of program is
wardialer. It is used by corporations to detect unknown connected modems.

Telephony Scanner from Internet Security Systems (ISS) has an easy to use
interface. For large ranges of corporate phone numbers, ISS Telephony
Scanner achieves fast performance by leveraging the TAPI interface to
support dialing many modems in parallel. Once a dialup is detected, ISS
Telephony Scanner has Smart Detection to identify and classify the host
type. It stores all the information into an ODBC-compliant database, and can
generate HTML reports.

It runs on Windows NT, 98/95.
