Hello.
Is it possible for a "hacker" to break into a network
through a fax modem connected to a networked PC if the
fax modem is set to auto-answer?
If so, how is this possible?
Any actual cases?
I'm conducting a network security assessment and I
need real proof if I'm going to get this user to
remove his fax modem (which he uses to rec'v faxes at
nite).
