I have seen this also.
I have found that SS4 console is sensative to MDAC on some platforms.
To get a console on Compaq Armada 1700 with Xircom nic operating, I first
deleted all other ISS products, installed MDAC 2.1, rebooted , then
installed SS4 console. For some reason Console does not ask for passphrase
when configuring in the first agent.

Hello!!

Perhaps someone can help me, I hope so.
I install System Scanner 4 on my NT WS. Also Agents for UNIX and NT.
To scan is no problem, but with the NT Agent 4 I have some trouble.
I install the agent with the default values console 9992 agent 9991.
I add it to my console and can poll them, but if I try a scan, the scan run
and run and run.
 I uninstall the agent and change the port für the console to 9990. Change
registry.
But nothing change, does anyone have an idea ??
