Dan,
The issue as I understand it is that fact that you cannot use shell
redirect commands in the argument field for a user defined action. Example
using the ">>" to write a output to a file. These are SHELL redirects, and
RS does not run these commands under a shell, therefore redirects like that
will not work.

Have an opened incident and wanted to know if anyone else
had user defined actions failing on RealSecure Solaris 3.2
engines?
Tried an executable first and then just tried
echo hello >> filename
got nothing!! anyone else on the bleeding edge?
