Dear Rene,
I did a little searching of my own and found that Port 2091 is used by
two chat programs: Go2Call and PalTalk. (see:
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/app_port_list.htm). I also found
that ICS uses port 2091 as well. (see:
http://lynx.dac.neu.edu/a/amccombs/FAQ.html) Upon a little more searching I
also found some info at
http://www.watchlistlive.com/talkitup/talkitupnetworksupport.html.
I hope that this helps you out some. If you have any further questions
please let me know. I found all my info by running a search on Google.com on
port 2091.
Sincerly,
Darien Heimermann

Subject: New backdoor ?
Hi all,
Starting on Wed Nov 14th around 6:00 AM UTC (I leave in France) Black Ice
Defender started to report attemps to connect on port 2091. A quick search
on the Internet with "port and 2091" gives no results.
Does anyone know what this port is supposed to do ?
Thanks,
Rene Poisson.
