Hi,

There is an article in knowledgebase of ISS with an
AnswerID:1088 "Why is Internet Scanner not supported
on Server?". It talks about "quantum"(hmmm..not much
idea to explain it further..) difference between
Workstation & Server.

I agree with Dan, it would work but it is gonna takes
longer to complete the scan. I'm not so sure about
this but if you want to increase its speed in
scanning, you can try to turnoff most of your server's
services. The tradeoff is, it will scan faster but you
are throwing away its server capability. So why not
use a workstation instead of a server...:-)
