Malcolm,

You will most likely need to press the F6 key during the first
blue-screen boot stage and install a Compaq drive array or SCSI driver
at that early point. You cannot leave it till later or the setup will
fail.

Is this the problem you are having ?

It may pay to ask Compaq/HP on the proper install steps for their
product and XP.

Subject: [ISSForum] Internet Scanner 7 on Windows XP

Hi ISS Forum,

I recall this question being ask a couple of weeks ago but i can't seem
to find the answer. I have a Compaq Proliant DL360 which i want to run
Internet Scanner 7 from. Problem is i can't seem to install Win XP onto
the Proliant. Does anyone have any ideas how I can do this? Win 2K Prof
will install but i can't install Terminal Services on W2K prof and
therefore lose my remote management so I was hoping I could use XP (as
XP has a terminal services engine built in).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,
