One thing that you sould be aware of concerning Proventia, espacially if you
plan to monitor more than one network segment by using the Proventia 600
series, is that even if you have 4 network interfaces you can only monitor
one network segment. What it meens is that you can't configure it to monitor
4 different segment by applying four network sensor policy. It it specially
designed for monitoring 4 network segment that have the same network traffic
or where one policy will fullfill the security needs for those 4 network
segment. So, if your plan is to monitor 4 different network segments forget
the Proventia product. I got this information directly from someone at ISS
so I suppose that it is right...
