This is coming in Service Pack 5 and is called Centralized Alerting.

In the ISS roadmap for SiteProtector is there any intended development
for alerting on event thresholds?
An example would be an alert for 3 of the same signatures being
triggered in 30 seconds, or 5 events from a certain IP address in a time
period.
