    Any chance you could try a stock 4.1.0 build, ie without any RH patches?

    So, you are successful on XP1000 with a Voodoo3 (3000?) PCI card, but
    the same card/server hangs/crashes on UP2000? Have you tried running
    single processor on the UP2000, to see if maybe it's the SMP that's
    causing the problem?
