Oh well, who cares anyway.
What's more important is where to download RH for the Opteron or when is
Debian going to start a port?
The price of these Opterons is astonishing 64bit with good spec figures all
for aound $340 for a processor and $450 for a dual processor motherboard.
Tell me how much was a UP2000+ plus two 833mhz processors when they were
new.
The Alpha processor may have been very refined but these Opterons are a good
compromise...
On the inquirere the other day as I was browsing there were two text link
adverts one for a quad Itanium at around $30,000 and the other for a dual
Opteron at roughly a tenth of that price. Ten x the power for ten times the
price - I don' think so..........
