I do have a matrox millennium, and
kernel-2.4.18-27.7.x.hp and XFree-4.1.0.29.4hp from updates for RH7.2
I don't know how to check if it's a kernel with fb text mode though. Will try
re-installing XFree rpm's later tonight. Thank you.
