2.4.22-rc2 milo reboot problem (again)

Hello folks,

With 2.4.22-rc2, I got that milo reboot problem again (PC164, flickering
screen when leaving the kernel during reboot).
2.4.22-pre10 definitely works; I didnt test 2.4.22-rc1, but in view
of the small diff between rc1 and rc2 I suspect rc1 is also broken.
Does anybody have a fix?
