Memory Upgrade for 164SX

Hi folks:

I'm looking to upgrade memory on my 164SX. I know I must use matching
DIMMs in its two banks. Questions:

1. What is the single largest module capcity 164SX can handle (256 MB,
or 512 MB)? If it can take 512 MB DIMMs, I could get a couple to bump
up the memory past 1GB. The other bank has 2 128MB DIMMs. Would the
164SX recognize that much?

2. Can my 164SX use registered ECC DIMMs? I'm found these DIMMs on ebay
(item #3842099226).
