The DVD drive is an HP DVD Writer 1040r
The text install was all I was able to use. (Maybe because I didn't have
a mouse attached.) I tried to check the disk for errors, but that
failed. At that point I had to reboot to continue with the
installation.
I stopped at the disk partitioner as I don't have any disks installed.
