Francisco, the output from the 2.2.19 series looks strange;
specifically, it appeared to run two scsi detection sequences. Now, I
haven't run SCSI (nor md) on a system myself, so I don't know if this is
normal or not. However, I do know that a complete dmesg is much easier
to use than partial snippings of dmesg. Often, it is device interaction
that matters more than the individual lines in the dmesg.
Please repost both (complete) dmesg outputs. (Having never worked with
SCSI nor md before, I can't promise that this would be enough to figure
out the problem. My guess, however, is that the 2.2.19 kernel is missing
your scsi driver, or the driver is compiled as a module when it should
be compiled straight into the kernel, or something similar...)
Thanks. :)
