Well, thats close to a non-issue here. I've got a local Immunix 6.2 mirror,
and a repository for all updates (the old ones that you maintained, the new
ones that are basically recompiles of RedHat's 6.2 fixes and my custom
packages) Those are all apt-enabled (http://apt-rpm.tux-family.org), and
patching up a freshly installed system goes like
apt-get update && apt-get upgrade && apt-get dist-upgrade
And the same procedure on all my machines immediately after I have a
an updated package tested and uploaded to my repository...
So, not commenting on Immunix 7.x, but in general, I'd prefer a security
fix for my exiting system(s) over a future new distribution anytime, and
without debate.
