Would you please dear Sir/Madam answer me a question?

I found the downloadable egcs-1.1.2-stackguard version only provide terminator canary word protection. I didn't find XOR canary word protection or random canary word protection.
Did I missed or only commercial copy provide this kind of canary word protection?
need I buy a cd to get this kind of protection?
