I'v decided yesterday to try immunix 7+ beta but after taking a look at
what is available for download did not find a complete distribution. So I
have some questions -
1. Is is supposed to be as new distribution by itself or add-on to
immunix 7.0 that I would "rpm -f"
2. If its full distribution, where are the necessary boot/install files,
such are typical redhat 1st & 2nd stage installs.
3. Most important I did not see gcc packages in the immunix 7+ directory,
so this is this really just recompile of existing packages from latest
sources with all the patches, etc? If so what are you looking for in
terms of making this a "beta", I mean just recompile of sources does
not seem to qulify for public beta and need for public feedback?
