Udo, while we intend to end supporting our 7+ distribution sometime in
Q1 2004 (the exact date is still under discussion, but we expect Q1 to
remain correct), we will still be glad to host user-supplied packages,
security fixes and otherwise, on our contrib directory on our http
server, after this date.
We hope that this will give our current users a further margin while
determining their transition, either to our newer 7.3 release, or to
some other distribution that better meets their needs.
