Today Novell has announced the opensourcing of the AppArmor product.
Immunix users will know this as the product formerly known as SubDomain
:) and a core component of the Immunix operating system. Since Immunix
OS 7 plus this product has seen numerous enhancements and new features.

We will be continuing to develop this product with the community and
encourage those who are interested in helping or following the
development to subscribe to apparmor-announceforge.novell.com.

There are two locations for information about the project:

and packages integrated as part of the openSUSE distribution

The Novell Forge AppArmor page. Contains links to the mail lists along
with development versions of the AppArmor code.

We sincerely appreciate your interest and support with the Immunix
products over the years and we hope that you will continue with us in
the future as part of SUSE and Novell.

With the opening of this community effort we have decided to close this
mail list effective January 11th, 2006.
