Thanks for some very useful responses about heap overflows. I'm sitting on
a potentially nasty one. If someone more experienced with heap overflows
wants to get in touch to help me determine if it's exploitable, feel free
:-)
I might just throw it open to security-audit anyway, it sounds like it
could be an interesting discussion.
