I just had a look at OpenBSD 2.7's traceroute and Debian GNU/Linux 2.2's
version. It looks like some of the bugs got fixed a _long_ time ago by the
folks at OpenBSD 3-5 years ago. Neither of them seem to stop users
specifiying a huge number of probes but I think that limiting the number
is still a good idea.
