tcpserver's good:
- services are independent
- UCSPI-TCP
tcpserver's bad:
- no support for UDP services
- no support for RPC services
- no "internal" services (well, does anyone need them?)
tcpserver's ugly:
- DJB's ideology
And to answer the original question: no, I do not think I know a
reasonable replacement from inetd.
