Just thought I'd chip in and say there is one way and possibly two ways
to search the Mailman-users archive.
First, if you go to the "home page" of the mail list there are
instructions on how to search the archives using a Python related search
page. (Sorry, I found it last night (using a Google search on
[Mailman-users archive], IIRC) but didn't save it.)
Second, something that works for almost any archive subject to three
conditions:
* The archive is stored on the Internet
* You know the URL of the archive.
* The owner of the archive has not included "robots" directives to
prevent the archive from being indexed.
Assuming the above three conditions are satisfied, you can search the
archive using Google by including a search term like "site:<URL of
archive site>" along with the terms you are searching for.
Hope this helps,
Randy Kramer
