    Hi

    After upgrading apache, I noticed many files owned (and writable by-) the
    user 'apache' (which runs the web server).

    Actually, the whole /var/www tree (including the wwwroot) is writable by
    apache.

    Is this a problem on my system? Or is this on purpose (and what might be
    the logic behind such decision?)
