Since fetchmail can deliver to smtp, why not send it through your normal
smtp server, which should have scanning anyway? Postfix+Amavis, Sendmail
+Amavis or Sendmail+milter, Exim+Exiscan, any one would do.

In short a number of clients have yahoo, and hotmail accounts, and they are sitting behind our firewall system with winders boxes. What I'd like to be able to do is have fetchmail (or some other program ) go out get thier mail, filter it, and then put it in a local box where they could pop3 into it and get it. .... without of course the viruses. Sendmail, and procmail seems to have this feature but they don't do pop accessing. I also would prefere not having to teach the masses how to use forwarding on their web accounts. Any suggestions on where to look. Thanks in advance.
