I found something interesting while working with a customer. Userdrake
has the ability to manage users in an ldap directory and it's pretty
sweet (though it won't save my preferences, not sure why). The only
problem is when you create a new user, it puts the password into the
directory in clear text.
Not good.
I have been trying to hack the crypt() function into it (and I have, and
the test program works), but getting the compile to work requires me to
add linking the crypt library. Working through that (all you developers
who do this on a day to day basis could prolly do it in 15 minutes or
less, but I'm not a developer, so there :)
