take what? a little more info as to just what you are trying to do would help.
i am new to msec, also, as i disabled it while playing with md 8.1. now, with
md 9.0, i am currently setting at level 3, and learning. which has been slow,
but only because i have not spent enough time with msec.
you did not mention if you rtfm, so, some of what i have been thru;
-+-
# p4p-msec-info
command line::
man msec
man mseclib
less /usr/share/doc/msec-*/CHANGES
less /usr/share/doc/msec-*/README
less /usr/share/doc/msec-*/security.txt
to locate msec files;
find / -name "*msec*" -print > find-msec
x-window::
open 'mandrake linux documentation',
select 'quick-configuration server guide [html][pdf]',
scroll 'table of contents' to 'iii applied theory',
click, read chapter 10, 11.
or;
open html browser, open file,
/usr/share/doc/mandrake/en/Server_Conf_guide.html/server-theory.html
read chapter 10, 11.
if ole shows hotlinks::
file://usr/share/doc/msec-*/CHANGES
file://usr/share/doc/msec-*/README
file://usr/share/doc/msec-*/security.txt
file://etc/security/msec/level.local
file://var/lib/msec/security.conf
file://etc/security/msec/security.conf
file://usr/share/doc/mandrake/en/Server_Conf_guide.html/server-theory.html
