Exactly ;-) I'm not sure the server I'm mirroring off supports rsync
but that's not the point really. I'm stuck on getting the LAN mirror
working. I did all the urpmi --addmedia (shame on me... using the GUI
tool) business and the machines _do_ pull the hdlist.cz from the LAN
ftp. It's the next step that doesn't work properly: the available
updates list is empty. I summarily checked for file modification time
differences against the mirror and they look the same. What I meant to
ask is: is there something particularly delicate in the process that
breaks urpmi and that I have to look out for (say, regenerate
timestamps, etc...) tnx
