Your conclusion may well be the right one, but I'd say that the two statements
you made are in plain contradiction.
To actually KNOW that replacing Sendmail with Postfix is a good idea, you must
have ABSOLUTELY SOLID GROUNDS on both MTAs: otherwise, you can't DECIDE which
one is the best choice, and you're just expressing other people's opinions.
Tons of people seem to be of your same idea, so you are very likely right; but
then, "millions of lemmings can't all be wrong" is something that always pops
up at the back of my head and make me think twice before accepting blindly a
"general opinion"... I'd probably be writing this in Outlook on my WinXP box,
otherwise :-)
No offence intended, so please let us don't start a flame on this... it's just
my way of viewing things.
