Can you be more specific? There are:
1)samba3 packages in contrib for 9.2
2)samba3-3.0.0-1.1mdk packages for every supported release available on
the samba FTP mirrors
3)samba-3.0.0-1.1mdk packages for every supported release available on
my site
4)This was all recently announced on the samba-binaries and samba lists

However, 3.0.0 is (IMHO) not production ready, which is why we have
3.0.1pre1 in cooker contrib already (a number of non-trivial bugs are
fixed in it). I am not sure how long it will be until 3.0.1 final is
our, and I will be finishing my studies and probably no longer be
involved in the current network I assist in administering within about a
month - but if at all possible I will provide binaries for all supported
releases (as I have been doing for about 2 years) on the samba FTP mirrors.

I personally will be waiting for 3.0.1 before we upgrade on our
production domain controllers (currently running samba-2.2.8a with LDAP
support, which you can also find on the samba FTP mirrors).

BTW, note the difference between the samba3-3.0.0-1.1mdk and
samba-3.0.0-1.1mdk packages, the first will install in parallel with
samba-2.2.x for an easy upgrade (which can otherwise be tricky
especially if you run samba-2.2.x on an LDAP backend since the schema
has changed).

But, official packages? No, for that you will need to wait for 10.0 (we
probably won't switch samba2/samba3 until 3.0.1 in cooker even). I don't
think those people shipping 3.0.0 without patches (hint, those with
names of headgear) are being responsible ...
