Re: [discuss] 9.0 update problem

Ok, so iv isolated the problem to the fileutils rpm..

[rootinfinium RPMS]# pwd
/home/ftp/pub/mandrake/updates/9.0/RPMS
[rootinfinium RPMS]# urpmq --auto-select
fileutils
[rootinfinium RPMS]# urpmi fileutils-4.1.11-6.1.90mdk.i586.rpm
The following packages have to be removed for others to be upgraded:
basesystem-9.0-1mdk
dev-3.3.1-10mdk
msec-0.36-1mdk
do you agree ? (Y/n) n
[rootinfinium RPMS]# rpm -q fileutils
fileutils-4.1.11-5mdk

Rather odd, iv installed fileutils-4.1.11-5mdk manually with 'rpm -Fvh'
and it didnt complain, just have to wait for more updates to come out to
see if its going to happen again.

Thanks for the help Michael.
