it was on monday that i saw the kernels on
ftp.nluug.nl so i can't confirm that they were there
earlier. thanx for your quick explanation :)
one more little question. i'm using the secure kernel
on both my pc's (mnf8.2 and 9.1) and i was
experimenting with 'buffer overflows'. just wanted to
know how it works... and i made some binaries myself
and i was able to run them on my mnf8.2 but not on 9.1
because grsec denied permission to the files. (an
error was displayed in /var/log/messages). shouldn't
the secure kernel om mnf8.2 give the same error?
