Gothca. My mistake. When I saw the announcment for the mplayer update,
I used rpm -q -i, to see which version I had (after running updates),
and saw that it was a plf version. I didn't realize that there is
a version on main updates, as well, and mistakenly assumed that the
annoucment related to a plf release.

Thanks for the correction. I'll post back, if the updates don't make
it to my local mirrors, in a day or two.
