You seem to have missed his point. Petr has already unsubscribed. Mandriva
seems to have a bad habit of ignoring unsubscribes.

When I first looked into using Mandriva, the hardware I had wasn't good enough,
so I also unsubscribed. It took over 6 months of complaints, to get my email
address removed from their marketing email list.

Mandriva really does need to remove users from their email lists, when the user
unsubscribes, and stop using the excuse of "having to recover their database",
to explain why the addresses keep getting re-added.

Also, there is no way that I can see, to justify sending pure marketing crap,
to a security list.

Getting a reputation as a company that spams unsubscribed users is not
a good marketing move.
