::Hi,
::
::I have a geustion. i use suse linux 8.0 whit apache 1.3.23
::but on the apache site i see 1.3.26 and it will fix some
::security bugs....
::Is suse fixing those secrity problems in they`re rpm`s or
::is it better to compile a new apache version?
SuSE's policy is to patch existing version numbers as not to break any
dependancies. If you need some feature that was released with .26 with
the acception of the security fix...then go for it. If you just want the
hole patched...then you can pretty much count on SuSE to have patched
it. :)
Hope that answered your question.
